pentaleap's 'warmup' call allows publishers to optionally call pentaleap in parallel to retrieving organic results, in order for pentaleap to call and receive ads from one or multiple third party demand sources the warmup must be used in conjunction with the regular fluid adserver call, and should be sent before the regular fluid adserver call the basic flow is user visits page retailer triggers warmup call to pentaleap with userid, page context and requested ad unit(s) pentaleap calls demand source(s) to retrieve ads for the auction retailer receives a 202 accepted status when the call is successful retailer retrieves organic page content retailer triggers spa/display v3 fluid adserver call to pentaleap pentaleap returns the normal ad response, with any demand source ads already included utilizing the warmup call allows retailers to consolidate their ad calls and receive all ads in one flow, with pentaleap optimization note before utilizing the warmup flow, please discuss the demand source call options with your pentaleap contact, in order to ensure correct mapping and demand source setup
